Go Enrol and Stephen Parkes, the company’s Managing Director, have been awarded £1,000 by Shell LiveWIRE’s Grand Ideas Awards programme to help develop Go Enrol.

Shell LiveWIRE (www.shell-livewire.org), the UK’s biggest online community for young entrepreneurs aged 16-30, has been offering free business start-up advice and funding for 30 years (since 1982). The programme currently offers monthly £1,000 Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards to businesses less than 12 months old a further £10,000 in November each year for the Shell LiveWIRE Entrepreneur of the Year. Stephen Parkes’s idea was submitted through Shell LiveWIRE’s website, was selected by a panel of judges to a Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Award winner and worthy of £1,000 funding. The Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Award are designed to give aspiring young entrepreneurs a no-strings-attached financial boost of £1,000 to help them get their business ideas off the ground. The awards are held monthly and entrepreneurs from all over the UK can submit their entries through the LiveWIRE website.

Go Enrol thanks to the Shell LiveWIRE award plan to explore the market in Thailand for English language training. With the award, Go Enrol’s Managing Director will travel to Thailand in early 2014 to conduct market research and meet with potential local partners.
